अध्याय १०: विभूतियोग

श्रीकृष्ण सांगतात की त्यांचे मूळ देव किंवा महर्षीही जाणू शकत नाहीत, कारण तेच त्या सर्वांचे आदिकारण आहेत. जो त्यांना अजन्मा आणि अनादी म्हणून ओळखतो, तो सर्व पापांतून मुक्त होतो. अर्जुनाने त्यांची स्तुती करत त्यांच्या दिव्य विभूती (ऐश्वर्य) विस्ताराने सांगण्याची विनंती केली.

Shri Krishna states that neither the hosts of demigods nor the great sages know His origin or opulences, for, in every respect, He is the source of the demigods and sages. He who knows Him as the unborn, as the beginningless, is freed from all sins. Praising Him, Arjuna requests Him to describe in detail His divine glories (vibhuti).

त्यावर श्रीकृष्ण आपल्या प्रमुख विभूतींचे वर्णन करतात: ते सर्व भूतांच्या हृदयात स्थित आत्मा आहेत. ते आदित्यांमध्ये विष्णू, ज्योतींमध्ये सूर्य, नक्षत्रांमध्ये चंद्र, देवांमध्ये इंद्र, रुद्रांमध्ये शंकर, पर्वतांमध्ये मेरू, वृक्षांमध्ये अश्वत्थ, शस्त्रांमध्ये वज्र आणि अक्षरांमध्ये 'अ'कार आहेत. ते सांगतात की त्यांच्या दिव्य विभूतींना अंत नाही. 'या जगात जी जी वस्तू विभूतिमान (ऐश्वर्ययुक्त), श्रीमान (सुंदर) किंवा शक्तिमान आहे, ती माझ्या तेजाच्या अंशातूनच उत्पन्न झाली आहे, असे तू जाण.'

In response, Shri Krishna describes His prominent glories: He is the Supersoul, seated in the hearts of all living entities. Among the Adityas He is Vishnu, among lights He is the radiant sun, among the stars the moon, among the demigods Indra, among the Rudras Lord Shiva, among mountains Meru, among trees the banyan tree, among weapons the thunderbolt, and among letters the 'A'. He states that there is no end to His divine manifestations. 'Know that all opulent, beautiful and glorious creations spring from but a spark of My splendor.'
